Alaskan Baltic Porter Ale, Ep. 128

This week on Beer America TV we head back to our old stomping grounds at Moon River Brewing in Savannah! Alaskan Brewing Company was so kind to send us several samples last year and we saved a few of our favorites for last. Alaskan Baltic Porter Ale is a limited edition beer that is dark, complex, completely unexpected and super tasty! It shares many characteristics of a Russian Imperial Stout, but has many different flavors and aromas that are hitting you up front like, cherries, coffee, raison, licorice, chocolate and vanilla. Oh yeah, it’s aged in French oak barrels to add further complexity! If you can find it, get it a few – it ages extremely well!

  • Tom Said,

Yes, this is an AWESOME brew! If you can find it … BUY IT!!

And yes, John, many of us viewers REALLY enjoy the technical details you bring to the bar. Without that depth, we wouldn’t be watching.
