Alaskan Brewing Company: Alaskan Amber, Ep. 154

Here is a new beer blog that is old (never released it) that we just discovered from Alaskan Brewing Company. Beer America TV was so very fortunate to get a care package full of great Alaskan beers a few years back and this one is another winner! Alaskan Amber is smooth malty goodness with a nice hop note – in two words, well balanced! We are big fans of Alaskan and highly recommend that if you can get, you need to try it!

  • Marco Said,

Nice show guys. Any chance you can do a show on the Sierra Nevada Celebration? I brew a clone of this wonderful IPA (it’s hard to tell the difference between them) and I think that it’s one of the best AIPA beers in the USA.
Paul, you asked me months ago if I had some beers from Canada that I could suggest for your show… I sent you a list but maybe during your move, it got lost? hhehe no worries, I can send it again BUT let’s start with this beer that’s from south of the border and one that I usually have on tap at home all the time.

    Keep up the good work!
    CHEERS,

  • Paul Said,

Thanks for the comments Marco. There are plenty of really great Canadian beers and I’m sorry we haven’t discussed any at this point. Doesn’t mean it won’t happen 🙂
I’d love to do Celebration but I’m not sure when John and I will get together again and record episodes. All I know is that it has to be in the next few months or I’m out of episodes. Hope you have a happy holiday!!!
