The Texas beer scene has been less than unique or exciting, but with a quick trip to the 2010 Texas State fair in Dallas, that all changed! If you haven’t heard about it yet, fried beer has hit the scene, and this week, I’m going to try it! I know the motto of our show is that “taste is subjective”, but all I have to say to you before you watch this vlog is, try making pretzel dough into the shape of a ravioli, fill it with beer, fry it up, add a little salt and pop it in your mouth – what do YOU think it will taste like? Cheers…sort of.

The look on both your and your wife’s face is exactly what I imagined “fried beer” would taste like: Ew. I love that you had your daughter working the camera, though!

Jennifer, you are so right! As we say on this show, taste is subjective, but I just don’t see how you make this taste good?? My daughter knew exactly what I was thinking when I bit into it as you can hear her laugh! If you ever get a chance to try it however, you should, it was a new beer experience for sure! Thanks for leaving the comment!!

It’s definitely something I would have to try just to say I did try it. You can’t say they aren’t being creative! (Um, but I think I prefer my beer in a glass.)

I’m sorry, to disgusting to think about putting in my mouth. Besides why whould you ruin a good beer that way? Well, I guess if you are using the commericial mega’s it could only help them.

Paul,
I’m not sure I can say I’m sorry I missed the fried beer episode. What a hoot though… I love that you had the fam in on this one. Yet another example of how BeerAmerica.TV is the REAL DEAL!
I look forward to clinking some glasses with you soon.
Cheers for now,

Love this one in particular. I like the fact that some times kids just want to get their 15 min worth of fame in.
