Living in Fort Worth Texas has many good aspects to it, and of course one of those good things is living close to Rahr & Sons Brewing Company. This week on Beer America TV we discuss their Winter Warmer, which is described as an English Dark Ale . Thick and hearty in appearance, this 8.5% ABV ale goes down light and easy, which is both good and dangerous. A great winter ale if you can get your hands on it, but hurry, it is seasonal after all. A special thanks to all that were so welcoming to John and I on our recent visit – we’ll be back!

Love that stuff. And the Bourbon Barrel-Aged variety is ridiculously good.

It’s getting scarcer now. It was all over the place for awhile. There are still a few places that have it, although I’m not sure which ones specifically. If I see a bottle, I’ll pick one up for you.
