Allagash – Interlude 2008, Ep. 68

The first beer produced for their “experimental series”, Allagash Interlude 2008 almost got dumped down the drain before it was finished. This Belgian style ale, as they put it, “pushes the limits of beer.” Aged in French Merlot and Sirah oak barrels, makes this beer a truly unique and bold tasting experience. In 2008 Beer America TV picked 2 Allagash beers as our best of the year, this one makes a strong running for a 2009 pick!

    Q. You mention “In 2008 Beer America TV picked 2 Allagash beers as our best of the year, this one makes a strong running for a 2009 pick!” is the 2008 listed on this site? If so, where?
