Founders Brewing Company: Cerise, Ep. 103

Fruit in beer is not always a good thing, but if done correctly, there might be magic in a bottle. Founders Brewing Company in Grand Rapids, Michigan has created a tremendous cherry ale they call Cerise, and it is special indeed! made with locally grown sour cherries, Cerise is mellow off the nose, but solid on the pallet . It’s easy to drink with a relatively low ABV of 6.5%. Unfortunately it’s a seasonal, so look for it around March in a store near you!!

  • Scott Coughlin Said,

Thank you guys for turning me onto Cerise. I would have never have tried this, not a fruit beer fan, but the three of you seemed to enjoy it so I picked up a 4 pack. I am so glad I did. A wonderfully refreshing summertime beer.

Enjoy each episode, keep them coming.

Glad you liked it Scott! I’m not a fruit beer fan either, but this one was certainly unique and an excellent summer beer.
