The Brooklyn Local 1 was a pick for the best beer in 2008 by a couple of us here at Beer America TV, so what does Brooklyn Brewery come back with for the second edition of this beer? A Belgian-inspired Strong Dark Ale! New York State raw wildflower honey, Belgian dark candi sugar and sweet orange peel are combined to hit you with a smooth, bottle-conditioned goodness that is a must try (especially if you liked the Local 1).

I had the Local 1 at the brewery a couple of years ago and it was really good. Really nice, smooth Belgian. Thanks for showcasing it. I wish I could get some out here in Los Angeles.
