This week we sample an unusual beer to many: Left Hand Brewing Company’s Smoke Jumper Imperial Smoked Porter! This is dark and nicely smoked off the nose. They use hot and cold smoked barley malt to give it it’s incredible flavor. There is also a nice sweetness coming from molasses, and a nice hoppiness as well. It was a GABF gold medal winner in 2009 in the smoked beer category.
